FAIRY TALES IN YOGHOURT (Indie Rock/Nantes)
Nantes' Benoît Guchet's solo career is a fairly radical representation of the "control freak" phenomenon. With a mountain temporality, he produces every 2000 years a record for which he will have meticulously assumed the essential roles, artistic as well as technical, and put all his friends out of work. In parallel with other less solitary projects (Bantam Lyons, Yes Basketball, Classe Mannequin), he produces with Fairy Tales in Yoghourt a folk drawn from all sides, as much towards the rawest minimalism as towards experiments on form and most noisy rock.
